So I figure this is the only way to find out the answers to some of the mystifying things about the games we all loved, since the designers are actually here. Of course, they may not remember after 20 years, but if they do…
*What was with the ‘oh, well’ clue at the end of Dave’s Challenge in Pools of Darkness? There was no way to figure it out in-game.
*Why didn’t we get to fight Manshoon in the same game? He’s a monster in the monster list, but never gets used… was there an official directive from TSR, or did you just run out of programming space (640K was definitely not enough for everybody by that point!)
